About Me

I’m Liam Fowler, and I grew up in Hawera, where I also went to school. After completing my studies at Waikato University, I returned to Hawera to begin my career. I graduated with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting, and went on to earn my Chartered Accountancy qualification in 2022. I was thrilled to finish in the top 5% of my final paper—an accomplishment I’m really proud of.

I’ve always been drawn to accounting because I want to help businesses and people grow. My approach goes beyond just compliance—I’m passionate about seeing the bigger picture and finding creative solutions that drive long-term success. Helping clients achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

At McCallum and Dallas, what I enjoy most is the opportunity to partner with our clients and guide them through their business journeys. It’s not just about the numbers; it’s about equipping them with the tools and insights they need to gain the freedom they seek. One thing that truly sets McCallum and Dallas apart is our unwavering focus on the client. We put clients first and are committed to delivering exceptional service that brings clarity and peace of mind. This dedication is what makes us stand out in the industry.

Collaboration is key in my role, and I pride myself on being a team player. I focus on finding solutions and lead by example. Creating an environment where everyone works together towards common goals is essential, ensuring we deliver the best outcomes for our clients. When clients work with me, I want them to feel confident that they are receiving exceptional service. My goal is to help them navigate their challenges and achieve success, while building long-term, trusting relationships.

I’m proud to align with the values of McCallum and Dallas—balance, connection, energy, leadership, and commitment. These values resonate deeply with me, as I believe in working with passion and purpose, always keeping the client’s needs at the forefront.

Outside of work, I stay active through sports, particularly squash and cricket. I also enjoy giving back to the community, whether through coaching or serving on the Hawera United Cricket Club Committee. It’s a great way for me to stay connected and contribute to the community that has supported me.

To stay up-to-date with industry trends, I’m actively involved in the CAANZ Taranaki Committee and the Tax Liaison Group. I also prioritise ongoing professional development to ensure I’m offering the best advice to my clients.

At the end of the day, it’s all about working together, supporting our clients, and making a positive difference. I’m proud to be part of the McCallum and Dallas team and excited about the future we’re building together.
