Joseph Smith

Joseph started here at McCallum & Dallas after a little over 2 years in banking and he really hit the ground running, straight under the wing of Huub, Joseph was completing and filing GST’s and drafting Annual Accounts the day he started. Through sheer determination and motivation of increasing his knowledge, he has completed a Bachelor of Agri Science and is currently studying towards his Chartered Accountants. Understanding farmers needs, not just from an accountant’s view but also a Agricultural view.

Joseph is a bit of a gym junkie, he loves to keep fit and healthy. He also has a bit of a competitive streak which may surprise some due to his calm and relaxed nature – but nothing like a game of Volleyball to bring it out of him. He and his fiancé Sam live in New Plymouth and enjoy hanging out with their family and being social with mates.

On meeting Joseph you’ll notice the respect and care he shows for people, he’s always polite and attentive. Building good relationships with his clients is so important to him, really looking in detail at how clients and their business’s work – no two clients are the same.
